June meeting 'My Favourite Tree'
After our highly successful 'Cloud Competition' we thought you might appreciate another challenge. So how about 'My Favourite Tree'. The image should feature a single tree, of any kind you like. As we are a nature photography group, you are asked to provide a title that includes the name of the tree to show that you can identify it. We don't mind if it is growing in cultivation or in the wild, though. And again, the prize will be the honour, the glory, and something chocolate!

August Exhibition 2010
Please submit TWO images for our exhibition
'Celebrating the Natural World'
Choose your two best images and size them as follows:Long side: approx. 2400 pixels (12 x 8 inches) 300dpi, jpeg, sRGB colour.
Use your own name and the title of your image in the file names: e.g. T.Smith - Bullers Mollymawk.jpg, T.Smith - Winter Wonderland.jpg
Option 1:
Take the two images on a CD or memory stick to Photo and Video, Merivale Mall and tell them these are for the Nature Photography Society Exhibition. They will be printed borderless, on matt paper. P & V have offered us a special discount price of $5.00 for the two prints.
Option 2:
You can submit your images through Photo and Video's website www. photo.co.nz and pay online. Go into webprints and follow instructions. In the 'comments' box please type in 'these images are for the NPSNZ exhibition', and only $5 will be charged to your credit card.
Photo and Video will keep all the prints together, and hand them to the Exhibition selectors at the END OF JUNE.
